Nursery school (for 3 - 6 year olds) The primary objectives of these are: (i) ensuring nutrition of children in the most crucial stage of their development; (ii) preparing the children to achieve the level required to enter primary school (iii) teaching mothers the basic principles of nutrition, hygiene and health.

What we have done so far:

• Construction and opening of a nursery school for 40 children (2005)

• Building and opening of a nursery school for 40 children (2008)

• Nutritional programme and an educational one for mothers: basic principles of nutrition, hygiene and health. (2005-2007)

• Construction and operation of a Health Centre for primary medical care, which receives between 15 and 20 individuals daily. (2007)

• Assistance for the construction of new classrooms in La Salle’s Colegio Badenya in the neighbourhood of Bogodogo (2007)

• Bricklayers and Mechanics Training School (2006). Training provided for an orphan child of that neighbourhood.

• Football Academy (2006). Three teams with 30 children each: one for 7-10 year-olds, another for 10-14 year-olds, and a third for children 14 to 17.
